The In-Between
The in-between is not a waiting period. It is a world of its own. Not every phase requires acceleration, intervention or another achievement. Some require spaciousness. Others require recalibration, exploration or the discipline to leave things untouched. The distinction is knowing which is required. Rest is not a departure from direction. Play is not a distraction from purpose. And movement, in itself, is not progress.
The objective is not to do more. It is to engage only with what warrants your attention.
To preserve attention, clarity and capacity required for what matters. To play without losing direction. To act without unnecessary urgency. To recognise that not everything deserves a response, a decision or your involvement. The in-between is where discernment becomes visible. There is a direction. There is a purpose. Within that, there is room to move, discover, refine and experience without forcing an outcome from every moment.
